American Girl Revisited

The first Thursday of the month is The American Girl Club from 4-5pm, and for the March get together, Jessica, one of our library clerks held 50 girls between the ages of 8-12 transfixed for a solid hour. On a regular basis Jessica takes part in Civil War reenactments in the area. She came to the club in period dress and spoke to the girls about what it would be like to live during that time. One lucky girl was chosen to dress up in period dress as well.
