Chili Public Library Adult Book Discussion.

Last Tuesday I took part in the Chili Public Library's Adult Book Discussion group. The Book Discussion group meets the first Tuesday of each month. This month we discussed the book "Hope and Other Dangerous Pursuits" by Laila Lalami. It is this year's book for "If All of Rochester Read the Same Book..." program initated by Writers & Books.

If you haven't taken part of a book discussion group I suggest you give it a try. It is quite fun to share you perspective with others who enjoy reading as much as you do. Not only was I able to delve deeper into the meaning of the book but learned about the people in the group as well.

The next adult book discussion group at CPL is Tuesday, April 1st at 7pm. The book to be discussed is The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver. No registration is required and books are available at the Circulation Desk. The book discussion group is sponsored by the Friends of the Chili Public Library and has been going on now for the last 8 years!
