Perhaps no place in any community is so totally democratic as the town library. The only entrance requirement is interest. - Lady Bird Johnson

What You Can Do For Your Library

A previous issue of the Chili Public Library newsletter dealt with what your library can do for you. In our March newsletter, Jeanne Austin lists ideas of what you can do for your library. I would like to share them with you.

1. Use it. Check out materials, use the computers, attend the programs.
2. Join the Friends of the Chili Public Library and help likeminded people support the library and its functions.
3.Donate used books, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, etc. to the library.
4. Make a Memorial Gift in someone's name.
5. Volunteer.
6. Participate in Friends' fundraisers - buy a calendar, submit a recipe for the upcoming Booklovers Cookbook, attend book sales, buy raffle tickets, etc.
