Greyhounds Love Books Too!
Representatives from Greyhound Adoption of Greater Rochester along with several retired racing greyhounds, visited the Chili Library on Wednesday. Those at the program learned of the history of the breed, how greyhounds train for the racing industry and what their racing career is like and how they transition to being a family pet. Pictured here, Marcia Johnson checks out a book for Tigger and owner Paul Hasert.

Wow! What a cool program and great opportunity for these magnificent creatures to find 'forever' homes! Kudos to the Chili Public Library for recognizing that animals are an essential part of our community!
