The library prides itself in providing materials and services to assist community residents in meeting their personal, educational, professional and recreational information needs. We provide a well lit, family friendly setting and provide materials in all categories and formats for the community’s reading pleasure.
On any day of the week you can choose to visit the library, or you may decide to invite us into your home. The following website www.chililibrary.org is our virtual library where you can search the online catalog, place holds for items you want to watch and read, download audiobooks and eBooks, and register for upcoming library programs and events.
To make it even easier for your virtual visit, our teen librarian Cathy Kyle has also created the Chili Public Library Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/chilipubliclibrary. Currently we have 151 fans and look forward to your becoming our friend. Visit us and post messages on our Wall. Tell us what’s on your mind regarding the library, its materials, programs and services. If you want to know whether the library has free wireless Internet access, or how to place items on hold, the page has a Frequently Asked Questions section. We’ve uploaded many Flickr photos for you to see. Visit our Facebook page and you will know ahead of time the upcoming events we are having. Not only can you search our materials but those within WorldCat, a union catalog which itemizes the collections of 71,000 libraries in 112 countries. We have a newly created Discussions section too, for you to start a topic or reply to a fellow patron’s.
