The Chili Public Library's Junior Friends Group

The Chili Public Library’s Junior Friends Group is a non-profit group dedicated to volunteering in the Chili Library and community. The members help with many of the library's programs for children and for teens. In the top photo, three of the Library’s Junior Friends, Miarri Phillips, Megan Crawford, and Brianna Taylor, help out at the recent Teen Photo Contest Awards Reception.

At a recently held Teen Photo Contest Awards Reception, sisters Joella and Tirzah Schneider (bottom photo) each received awards for their photos. Joella won Honorable Mention in the 16-18 age group and Tirzah won Third Place and Viewers’ Choice Award in the 12-15 age bracket. Here they are shown with Cathy Kyle, Chili Library’s Young Adult Librarian and contest coordinator, at the reception.
