State of New York Legislative Resolution Congratulating CPL!

At the 2010 RRLC membership meeting, Kathy Miller, Executive Director of RRLC read aloud the following Senate Resolution (number 5093) congratulating the Chili Public Library of its award. I want to personally thank Senator Alesi for submitting this resolution.

LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating the Chili Public Library upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the 2010 Library of the Year Award by the Rochester Regional Library Council

WHEREAS, The Chili Public Library exceeds all criteria; it has incredible community support and if you were to sum it up in two words, those two words would be "Family Friendly!"; as you walk in the front door, the atmosphere is bright and cheerful, and it has something for everyone; and

WHEREAS, The success enjoyed by the Chili Public Library is in direct correlation to the efforts of the many individuals who have supported the development of the library over the years; and

WHEREAS, Equally commendable are the Chili Public Library's superbly- skilled staff, whose involvement is and has always been characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all of their efforts on behalf of the library and the population it serves; and

WHEREAS, Steeped in a proud and distinguished history, the Chili Public Library may take just pride in its purposeful growth, as it looks forward to continuing to serve the educational, cultural and intellectual needs of the community; now, therefore, be it
