July 4th Chili-Fest
Deb, Jill and I had a good time at the library's vendor booth at this year's Chil-E Fest. We signed up loads of kids for our summer reading program. Later in the day the library had close to 30 people marching in the Chil-E-Fest parade.
I have worked within the Monroe County Library System for the past 20 years. My previous position was Assistant to the Director for MCLS where I oversaw system support services. Prior to this I was manager of both the Literature & Media Division, and the Information Center at the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County. My wife Mary Jo is also a librarian and currently works for the Rochester Public Library. We are both avid bird watchers, love antiques, and have two dachshunds to keep us busy.
